The simplicity that surrounds the exterior
Through an austere and strictly geometric vocabulary, this new family of floor-standing lamps takes shape. It speaks of simplicity and reflects the nostalgia for the minimalism of the 60s. Projected as a cylinder, the lamp is built essentially through ribbons that wrap around the light while a flat metal disk partially covers the upper part, keeping it hidden. The four wooden legs that lift and support the body share a flat rounded shape that contributes to its simplicity and overall lightweight feel. The finish on the legs, available in natural or lacquered wood, defines the final identity of the piece, and its height highlights the minimalist essence of this project. A design made from materials that are also suitable for outdoors, which exemplifies the expression of Francesc Rifé’s design, guided by the notion that a good piece of furniture should be simple and combine functionality and feeling.
